Terms of Service

The agreement between you and the operator of Blevo, kept as plain as we can make it.

Plain-language summary

  • Blevo is a social step-challenge game. Be 13 or older (16 in the EU and UK), play fair, and be decent to people.
  • Coins are not money. They have no cash value, can’t be withdrawn, sold or transferred, and exist only inside Blevo.
  • The AI coach, Life Moments and insights are guidance, not medical advice.
  • Cheating (faked or simulated steps) gets results voided and accounts suspended.
  • You own what you post. You can delete your account any time: You›Settings (gear, top right)›Danger zone›Delete account, final after 7 days.

1. Who we are

Blevo (the iPhone and Android apps, this website and the Blevo connector for AI assistants) is operated by Blevo (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Blevo you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Blevo.

2. Who can use Blevo

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 if you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, or older if the law where you live requires it. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you.
  • Coin-entry challenges and any other features we mark as age- or location-restricted are only available where and to whom the law allows. We may ask for your region and turn features off where they aren’t permitted.
  • One account per person. Don’t create accounts to get around a suspension or to farm rewards.

3. Your account

  • You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep that account secure — you’re responsible for what happens under your Blevo account.
  • Choose a handle and name that don’t impersonate anyone, mislead, or contain hate speech or someone else’s trademark.
  • Tell us at contact@blevo.app if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. Health data and accuracy

Blevo reads activity and health data from Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android) only with your permission, which you can withdraw in those apps at any time. Step counts, distances, heart-rate and sleep figures come from your phone, watch and their apps; we don’t certify their accuracy. Blevo is not a medical device and isn’t designed to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise programme, especially if you have a health condition, and stop if something hurts.

5. Challenges

  • Each challenge shows its dates, goal, entry and prize rules before you join. Some are free; some take an entry in coins. Hosts set the rules of private challenges within the limits the app allows.
  • Results are calculated from synced step data after the challenge ends. Activity that fails our anti-cheat checks may be excluded, and a result may be held for review, corrected or voided — including after it was shown — if we find cheating or an error.
  • Where a challenge’s rules say so, part of a coin pot may be kept as a platform fee. If a challenge is cancelled, coin entries are returned.
  • Challenges are games of physical activity for fun and bragging rights. They are not gambling, and coin prizes have no monetary value (see Coins).

6. Coins

  • Coins are a virtual, in-app currency and a limited licence to use features in Blevo. They are not money, have no cash value, don’t earn interest, and can’t be withdrawn, exchanged for cash, sold, or transferred to another account or outside Blevo.
  • You earn coins through activity — hitting goals, doing well in challenges and similar — and spend them on challenge entries and in-app items.
  • Blevo doesn’t sell coins today. If we ever offer coin packs, they will be in-app purchases through the App Store or Google Play under those stores’ terms, and these Terms will be updated first.
  • We may adjust balances to fix errors, reverse coins gained through cheating, bugs or abuse, and change how coins are earned or priced in the app. Unused coins end when your account is deleted or terminated.

7. AI coach, Life Moments and insights

Blevo uses AI models to write coaching messages, briefings, plans, meal estimates and other insights from your data. They can be wrong or incomplete. They are general fitness guidance, not medical advice, and they don’t replace a doctor, dietitian or qualified coach. Use your judgement, and don’t rely on them for medical, nutritional or safety decisions.

8. AI assistant connector

You can connect your Blevo account to AI assistants and agents — for example ChatGPT (including always-on agents), Claude, Grok, Meta AI, Gemini, Perplexity, Mistral, Microsoft Copilot Studio agents and code editors — or use it from developer tools and model APIs with a personal access token (see the connector page). You choose what a connection may read or change when you approve it; changes it proposes should only happen once you confirm, and it can never spend coins or join coin-entry challenges.

  • Third-party services. Those assistants are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. We aren’t responsible for how they use what you ask them to read, for what they say, or for actions an agent takes on its own schedule with the permissions you gave it. Their answers are not medical advice.
  • Your connections and tokens. Connect only your own account. Keep personal access tokens secret — anyone holding one can use the permissions you gave it — and revoke any token you think has leaked in You›Settings›AI›Connect AI assistants›Access tokens. You’re responsible for what is done with a token you shared.
  • Fair use. Don’t use the connector to scrape Blevo, reach other people’s data or overload the service. We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke a connection or token that does, or that puts your account or others at risk.
  • Disconnecting. You can disconnect at any time, in your assistant or in the app (You›Settings›AI›Connect AI assistants›Connected apps). We may change or stop the connector, or the assistants it works with, as Blevo evolves.

9. Your content

  • You keep ownership of what you post — posts, comments, photos, messages, crew and challenge content.
  • You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and share that content only to run Blevo (for example, showing your post to your crew). The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others have already shared or that we must keep by law.
  • Only post what you have the right to post. We may remove content, and use automated checks to screen it, when it breaks these Terms or the law.

10. Acceptable use

Don’t:

  • fake, simulate or manipulate activity data (shaking devices, emulators, editing health data, or anything similar) or exploit bugs;
  • harass, threaten, bully or hate on anyone; post sexual content, violence, or anything illegal or that invades someone’s privacy;
  • spam, scam, advertise, or solicit other users;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with Blevo or its API, or build services on it without our written permission;
  • use Blevo if you’re legally barred from doing so.

11. App stores and third parties

If you downloaded Blevo from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply to that download, and Apple or Google (as applicable) is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms for that purpose — but we, not they, are responsible for Blevo and its support. Blevo relies on other services (such as Apple Health, Health Connect, and sign-in with Apple or Google) that have their own terms.

12. Suspension and deletion

  • You can delete your account at any time: You›Settings (gear, top right)›Danger zone›Delete account. It’s final after 7 days — signing back in before then cancels it. Details are on the Delete account page.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or the law, or that put other people at risk — with a warning first where the situation is unclear.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licences you granted for already-shared content, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) survive the end of your account.

13. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Blevo running well, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, or that data from your devices will be accurate. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost coins, data or profits, and our total liability for any claim about Blevo is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. We don’t exclude liability that can’t legally be excluded, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the operator is established, as stated in your app store listing, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be heard by the courts there — unless the consumer law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts or under your local law.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms as Blevo changes. We’ll give notice in the app before material changes take effect; the date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Blevo after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply.
